Hi, I’m Tomas Markkanen, although I also walk with the spiritual names Grandfather Sun, Earth Angel & Spirit Weaver. I was born in London and now live in Nottingham, in the East Midlands, carrying both my British roots and my Finnish heritage. These lineages shape how I see and connect with the world and how I hold space for others on their healing journeys.

My path into energy healing has been a deeply personal one. In February 2022, I began my training in Energy Field Dynamics, and since then, my practice has continued to grow and evolve. But truthfully, this journey began long before any formal training. Living with disability, exploring identity, sexuality, experiencing grief, shadow work, and health challenges have all been powerful teachers helping me cultivate compassion, awareness, and the ability to listen actively and notice energy and needs.

Through these experiences, I’ve learned that healing happens in relationships, through trust, connection, and co-creation. My approach is to walk beside you, not in front of you. Each session is designed together, honoring your individuality and your own pace.

My practice is rooted in ancient, sacred, and time-honored traditions, blending them with a holistic, complementary approach. This means I don’t see energy healing as an alternative, but to support and enhance your overall well-being, working gently alongside other forms of healing you may already have in your life. 

I believe deeply in the transformative power of energy, the light that lives within each of us, and in our capacity to return to balance when we give that power space to move and express.

With years of training and an intuitive understanding of energy dynamics, I help uncover the root causes of blockages and imbalances so that healing can unfold naturally. Together, we explore what works and feels true for you, co-creating sessions that focus on empowerment, awareness, and emotional well-being.

I hold this work with deep respect and integrity. It’s an honor to create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as you reconnect with your own innate healing wisdom.
